Pippa is a black pug with chocolate brown undercoat (not brindle though). She is believed to be between 5-6 years old (she was dumped at a shelter in the area earlier this year). She was wearing a collar with tags/contact info. She has had some medical issues and needs supervision. She is skittish around strangers. She went missing on Monday 11/7 at 2pm from in front of her home when her mom let her and her 3 brothers out for potty time. She left the door open for them and went inside for 2 minutes. 2 pugs came right back in the house, but one was found near the pond (which has been searched twice) in front of the house, but no Pippa. Her home is in rural Southern Missouri, near Highways Z & YY, between the towns of Houston & Cabool, on 35 acres with a long driveway. The area was searched thoroughly by ATV's and foot by many volunteers within 15 minutes of her disappearance. The area around the home is very wide open and she should have been seen as quickly as it was realized she was gone, before she could have gotten to any wooded areas.

  2. UPDATE! Pippa was found this morning in the road more than 10 miles from her home! She is now safe & sound with her THRILLED family! She was dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke, but not thin, and certainly did not look like she had been living in the woods for a week. We believe she was stolen and then dumped as the pressure was being put on hard.

Thank you for posting Pippa on your blog, we so appreciate it, and thank you all for the prayers! They worked!!!
